The AWS-485-SC-2CW-204-H2 Two Class Checkweigh Gated Sorting System is fast becoming the industry standard where accuracy and trouble free operation are needed. This is trully a universal check-weigher that can be used to check-weigh anything under 500 grams. From packaged soup to packets of hardware, (nuts). The check weigh system will deliver years of trouble free service in any application.
The operation of the system is simple and straightforward. The parts/products are best delivered to the weighing system using a conveyor. The uniformly spaced product drops one at a time onto the scale where it is caught by the on-scale hopper and weighed. The AWS-485-SC Setpoint Controller determines whether or not the part is outside the pre-selected acceptable limits, where it is released from the scale via the scale hopper and it is sorted to either the "good" or "bad" side of the sorting gate, where it then drops into the customer provided containers.
Depending upon the size of the part and the closeness of the setpoints, up to 45 parts per minute are possible with the high level of accuracy for which ADVANCE WEIGHT SYSTEMS, INC. is famous.
The AWS-485-SC Setpoint Controller not only operates the various components, but also provides, in a single unit, statistical gathering & reporting and RS-232 or RS-485 serial interface to the customer's production control equipment or computer. The unit can be set to control the process with feedback to the process equipment.
Available in several mounting configurations, these systems will fit into many manufacturing environments.
